Disney XD Renews Ultimate Spider-Man And Marvel’s Avengers Animated Series

Fans of both Marvel’s Avengers and Ultimate Spider-Man on Disney XD have something to celebrate about today. According to TVInsider, both shows have been renewed and are set to have new seasons premiere in 2016. There is one big difference in next year’s shows though. They’re both getting new titles, which isn’t anything new to Ultimate Spider-Man, which has had a couple title changes already. With the success of Avengers: Age of Ultron, Avengers Assemble is now becoming “Avengers: Ultron Revolution,” while Spider-Man gets the new title of “Ultimate Spider-Man Vs. The Sinister 6.” Avengers: Ultron Revolution will put the Avengers up against the titular villain as well as Baron Zemo, the Masters of Evil, the Inhumans, and Kang the Conqueror. Captain America, Iron Man, Hulk, Thor, Black Widow, Hawkeye, and Falcon will also team up with Black Panther, Captain Marvel, Ant-Man, and Ms. Marvel as well. Disney XD has teased that the storyline is leading up to “an all out Marvel super hero Civil War.” As for Ultimate Spider-Man, this will be the fourth season for the show, and a new line-up for the Sinister 6 will cause Spider-Man some trouble. He will have to assemble a team of his own featuring Agent Venom, Iron Spider, Miles Morales and a mysterious new Scarlet Spider. Both shows will debut in 2016.
