Listen To Disney’s Moana For #MusicMonday

Disney’s Moana topped this weekend at the multiplexes, earning $18.8 million to lead the domestic box office. It was the third straight victory for the animated adventure, which has made $145 million stateside since opening over Thanksgiving.

One of the reasons for Disney’s Moana‘s success is the music featuring the voices of the films stars, Auli’i Caravalho and Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson. The soundtrack also contains songs written and sung by Hamilton’s Lin-Manuel Miranda!

Just in case you have not seen the film…

From Walt Disney Animation on Studios comes “Moana,” a sweeping, CG-animated feature film about an adventurous teenager who sails out on a daring mission to save her people. “Moana is the 16-year-old daughter of the chief of Motunui,” says director Ron Clements. “She’s brave, determined, compassionate and incredibly smart. She has a never-say-die attitude and a profound connection on to the ocean.”
