Phineas And Ferb To End Run In June, Creators Land New Disney XD Show
The finale of Disney’s beloved Phineas and Ferb is on the horizon as production for the animated series has officially wrapped. But fans have something to celebrate ahead of that June 12 farewell as creators Dan Povenmire and Jeff “Swampy” Marsh are getting a new show called Mikey Murphy’s Law, the company announced Thursday.
The story will follow the fictional great-great-great-great-grandson of the Murphy’s Law namesake. Povenmire and Marsh are set to executive produce, and will be joined by Phineas and Ferb colleagues Robert F. Hughes, story editor Scott Peterson and staff writers Joshua Pruett, Dani Vetere and Martin Olson. It’s slated to premiere on Disney XD in 2017.
