The Cabins at Fort Wilderness
Officially opened on November 19, 1971, Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground is one of the original resorts built when Walt Disney World Resort opened. Located on 600 beautiful acres, Fort Wilderness contains 784 campsites and 409 cabins for guests to enjoy. The cabins are basically single-wide trailers made over to resemble rustic log cabins from back in the day. But don’t let them fool you; those 504 square feet can EASILY house a family of 6-8.
